Uplift Weight Loss & Maintenance

How Our All-Virtual Program Works

Fill out the initial screening form below.

UPLIFT IV will contact you to schedule your initial virtual consultation with one of our Nurse Practitioners. We will provide you with thorough education on the medication’s actions, potential side effects, and tips to avoid or lessen possible symptoms.

During your consultation, we will discuss your weight loss goals, and you will be advised on ways to optimize your weight loss and overall health while on semaglutide or tirzepatide therapy.

If these are safe options for you, we will issue a prescription to a pharmacy that can be picked up in person at one of many Northern Utah locations or can be shipped directly to your home.

Every 2 to 5 weeks, there will be a brief follow up with your provider to assess the effectiveness of your treatment. Medication adjustments may be made at these times.

Our pricing:

  • Initial virtual consultation and educational session with a licensed healthcare provider $150

  • Cost of medication includes check-ins with your provider every 2-5 weeks.

The fee for existing clients transitioning from one medication to the other is dose dependent. Your provider will make a personalized recommendation to you in these cases.

The fee for new clients already using semaglutide or tirzepatide would be cost of the initial consultation plus the fee for the dose needed.

Please note consultation fees are nonrefundable. If you do not show up to your initial consultation, you will not receive a refund. Your initial completed screening form will be critical in our determination if these treatments are safe for you. If it is determined you are not a good candidate, we will not schedule a consultation, and no fee will be charged.

**FAQ**

What are these medications?

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist. GLP-1 medications work by slowing down how fast food leaves your stomach, and they also can directly regulate your brain’s perception of hunger, so you feel full faster and stay full longer. This encourages you to eat less and lose weight.

Tirzepatide is a GLP-1 and GIP receptor agonist. The addition of GIP in tirzepatide helps increase the feeling of being full in the brain, which typically
makes it more effective for weight loss than semaglutide.

Which medication should I take?

This depends on your preferences and how far you are from your goal.

Discuss this with your provider to find the better fit for you.

Weight loss on both medications varies.

Some people have modest weight loss, and others have dramatic weight loss even on low doses.

We prescribe the full range of available doses to give you the best opportunity for success. This is not the case with most clinics who give you a flat rate per month, but also cap what dose they will prescribe.

Where does my medication come from?

Our Utah pharmacy uses the base form (the pure form, not the salt form) of the medications, manufactured and tested in the USA, ensuring strength and sterility.

What happens when I reach my weight loss goal?

When you reach your weight loss goal, we taper your therapy down to the dose necessary to maintain your goal weight.

There are some individuals with excellent diet and exercise habits that may be able to maintain weight loss without continuing the medication, but you may need maintenance therapy long-term.

Do you treat minors?

Our providers will prescribe for ages 16 and up.

What if I don't tolerate the medication or increasing the dose?

You may need to adjust your lifestyle or we may need to adjust your dosing. If these are ineffective, we may recommend trying the other medication we offer. You may experience the same side effects with the alternative, but some people do better on one formulation than the other.

What if neither medicine works for me?

Usually lack of weight loss on these medications is due to poor dietary choices. If you eat out of habit or emotional stress rather than reacting to hunger cues, you are less likely to lose weight.

If you are unable to change your diet with our advice, we may recommend additional resources to complement your ongoing semaglutide or tirzepatide therapy.

Will you bill my insurance?

Uplift IV is a cash pay company, we do not bill insurance or order medications through insurance plans. We are HSA/FSA eligible.
